Situation: When you fail to set up your Windows via Bluetooth by installing the driver (An error states "port not found"), please refer this page to set up via Bluetooth by matching the COM ports.

Please take a short time to watch the video, which will guide you through the setup process step by step.

Firstly,

If you have installed the driver before and failed to connect, you need to remove the printer device and driver first before reinstallation, please refer to these steps:

(1) Remove the printer 'BY-482BT' from your computer. Go to the 'Setting'-> 'Device' ->'Printers & Scanners'-> 'Remove device 'BY-482BT''

(2) Open the driver again and choose 'Remove printer driver'-> 'Next', select 'BY-482BT'->'Next' (If you can't find 'BY-482BT', skip this step)

STEP 1: Driver Installation(USB)

NOTE:

■ It is recommended to close security software before installation to avoid preventing installation.

■ Connect the printer to the same USB port on your computer every time to avoid creating duplicate copies of the printer.

Select ‘Install the printer driver’-> ‘Next’

Select ‘USB’-> ‘Next’, and you need to wait for a while for searching. (Here, please select 'USB' to install the driver, and then add the Bluetooth Device later referring to the below steps.)

 Select printer model ‘BY-482BT’-> ‘Next’

Input ‘Printer name’, select ‘Use the printer as default’-> ‘Next’

Click on ‘Print Test Page’ to check if the printer has been set up successfully.

Now the printer driver is installed successfully.

STEP 2: Add the Bluetooth of the Printer

Go to 'Setting'-> Click 'Bluetooth & devices'-> Click 'Add device'

Click Bluetooth

Choose 'BY-482BT_XXXX' (but not 'BY-482BT_XXXX_XX' ) -> Input the PIN '0000'-> Click 'Connect' -> The device is connected.

STEP 3: Check the COM of  the Bluetooth of the Printer (OUTGOING COM)

Click 'View more devices' -> Click 'More Bluetooth settings'

Check and remark the Outgoing COM number(for example COM 4 here) of the Bluetooth of the printer

STEP 4: Check and match the COM of  the USB (INCOMING COM)

Click 'Bluetooth & devices' -> 'Printer & Scanners'

Click 'BY-482BT' (installed by USB cable) but not 'BY-482BT_XXXX' (added before for Bluetooth Device)

Click 'Printer properties' of BY-482BT

Choose the same COM(COM 4 here) as the COM(COM 4 above)   of the outgoing Bluetooth remarked (in  STEP 3) to match them

Now the COM port for USB (INCOMING) and the COM port for the Bluetooth of the printer (OUTGOING) are matched.

Now you have successfully connected the printer to your Windows via Bluetooth, so just unplug the USB cable, and you can open your file to print.
