Smartphone setup-via Bluetooth

Please take a short time to watch the video, which will guide you through the setup process step by step.

1. APP Download

Method 1: Download ‘Label Expert’ from App Store or Google Play Store.

Method 2: You can also scan the code to download it directly. (For IOS & Android)

2. Printer Connection

(1) Connect and turn on the printer. 

(2) Load labels, and calibrate. 

(3) Turn on smartphone Bluetooth-> Open 'Label Expert'-> Click 'Printer Icon' in the top right corner to add the printer->Click "Search' and select the device BY-482BT-> Wait for connect automatically.

(4) lf a pop-up window asks for a PIN code->check the two boxes below->enter '0000' and click'OK'.

3. Print a PDF File

(1)Import a PDF file 

Method 1: Tap PDF print'->click Import PDF documents'->Search the file you want to print from Position shown at the bottom.

NOTE: Please allow the app access to ‘Storage’ permissions.

Method 2: Open the file from any software on your phone directly. 

Click ‘Open in Other APP’-> Select the ‘Label Expert’ APP

(2)Set the preference 

Click 'More Settings'-> Check and change the settings such as Paper size' , Print effect' and 'Watermark settings'.

TIPS:1)Choose the 'size' according to the size of the labels you load. 2)You can open'Smart crop'to make the label content fit the label size. 3)Click 'Rotate' in the top right corner to rotate the label.

Edit a watermark with lmage' or Word' if you need.

Slide the 'Transparency' to change the density of watermark text.Click 'Next'.

NOTE:lf you choose to print labels with watermarks in black and white, the watermarkswill obscure the content. However, if you select the 'dither' option, the watermarks willnot obscure the content.

Choose the copies you need->Click 'Setting Icon' to set more parameters such as 'speed’ , 'densityand 'spacing. Generally, turn on the default speed,density and spacing settings to print->Click the'Back Icon' in the upper left corner to return to the last step.    

NOTE: lf the labels printed are light or not clear, you can increase the density properly.A larger number means higher density, but too high density may cause some unwanteddark lines, and the label may get too hot and stick to the printer head.

Before print check the Device status'->Click BY-482BT'->Click ':'->Click Attributes'

NOTE:  Must choose '203','TSPL'.Keep "Filling" being OFF in case label reversal and"Compression"being ON in case color inversion or mass black and white text.

(3) Finally,click‘Print’
