Situation:
When you add your new printer after you installed the driver on your Mac successfully, you can not find a printer in the device list.
Reason: Unprepared printer
Check if the printer is turned on(and you have heard three consecutive beeps) and the USB is connected to the printer (if the driver is installed via USB).
Follow the steps below to restart:
(1) Unplug and plug the USB cable into the same port of your computer.
(2) Turn off your printer, turn it on, and wait for its three consecutive beeps to get ready.
Reason: Forget to add the printer model after driver installation
(1) Make sure your printer is turned on, connected to the USB cable, and you have installed the driver successfully.
(2)Go to ‘System Preferences’-> ‘Printers & Scanners’-> click"+"-> Choose ‘BY-482BT’-> Click ‘Select software’ under ‘Use’-> Find ‘BY-482BT’-> Click ‘OK’-> Click ‘Add’
Now the printer driver has been installed in your Mac book successfully. You can set it as the ‘Default printer’.
