Why does the printer skip labels or continuously feed labels?

Reason ①: Changing your label type or size might cause the printer fails to recognize the label size correctly

(1) Please turn off the printer and disconnect the USB cable from your printer, avoiding the computer keeping sending print commands to the printer.

(2) Turn on the printer, press the feed button and hold on until you hear one beep, and then release it to run automatic label identification, and the printer will relearn the new labels.

(3) Restart your computer, and reconnect the USB cable.

(4) Reset the correct paper size preference.

Go to ‘Settings’-> ‘Devices’-> ‘Printers & Scanners’, find the printer ‘BY-482BT’, click ‘Manage’-> ‘Printing preferences’-> 'Stock'-> 'Default Paper'. If you can’t find your needed size, choose ‘CUSTOM’ and add your customized size.

Ensure that the size of the paper size in the printer settings matches the size of the loaded label paper.

Reason ②: The sensor of the printer head that detects the paper might be affected by dust

Clean the printer head with the alcohol swap referring to the link: https://support.pedoolo.com/support/solutions/articles/151000077804-maintenance
